Overview of the Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)

Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) prove that the energy generated comes from renewable sources, such as solar power, wind power, etc. each REC represents a megawatt-hour (MWh) of electricity from a renewable source delivered to the grid (1 REC = 1 MWh).
